The test to see who remains faithful.

A girl named Gretchen is one of my closest friends. We haven't been friends for long but its safe to say we will be friends for a long time but there is this guy who comes between us. His name is Noah and he is the most beautiful blond in all the town but we both have huge crushes on him. Me being very shy and her so outgoing she was the first to make a move. She simply asked him if he liked her, it seemed harmless at first, but that was before he gave her the answer. He said yes. So they tried to make things work for them as a couple. It was great at first but then it started to sour when he started noticing another girl. Her name was Krista. Now my friend was getting more sad and sad each day and was depending on me to comfort her. I didn't want to. I thought she deserved it. I thought she needed to be taught a lesson for liking him and him liking her back but I did comfort her. I let her cry on my shoulder when she felt so down that she couldn't hold the tears in anymore. Then after a while I was thankful that she had went out with him. Why? because she helped me realize that he couldn't have a serious relationship and that I did want one and if he couldn't I didn't want to waste my time on him. i feel it was a test sent from God to see if i could really stay faithful to my friends and I am glad to say that I passed that test.
